Cameo - Taking over google maps
To announce the new car2go Mercedes Benz fleet 4000 photos of the new car2go models hijacked the picture galleries of google maps. Without any paid media budget this disruptive marketing stunt got extended into a customer-driven loyalty program, that rewarded pictures uploaded by customers themselves with extra minutes in return.  Within the first 48 hours, every single photo had about 300 views on average, 1.2 million clicks in total. By end-of-year about 34 million.
